Thought of the Day 08: Remembering My Whys

Things have been off for me lately. My days haven’t been shining bright as they used to and although some days are tolerable- it’s more often that they aren’t.
I feel numb, lifeless and lost.
It’s like I’m doing everything just for the sake of not disappointing other people and because I am expected to.
If anyone’s feeling a burnout as well I hope you find little time to rest. It helps to take a little pause and to step back from all the overwhelming workload.
Cry it out, scream if you have to and then collect yourself.
Remember your whys!
Why are you doing all of this in the first place?
Why do you have to do this?
You are exactly where you are meant to be right now. It might not make sense yet but it will at the end. Your pain has a purpose as much as all your joy does.
You are destined for so many great things, you just have to keep going.
But throughout the journey don‘t forget to BREATHE.
Amidst all of the busyness, your full week schedule and your never ending to-do-list, a minute or two won’t hurt.
Enjoy the climb.
